Chickpea Curry

1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside
2. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté chopped onion until soft
3. Add spices such as curry powder, cumin, and turmeric
4. Stir in tomato sauce and cook for 2–3 minutes
5. Add chickpeas (drained and rinsed if canned) and mix well
6. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally
7. Taste and adjust seasoning
8. Serve hot with rice

200 g chickpeas; 150 g tomato sauce; 1 onion; 1 tbsp olive oil; spices; 150 g rice
